In a TikTok video, Rosie’s former employer praised the Kenyan viral house help, nanny Roseline ‘Rosie’ Atieno, for effectively turning her TikTok platform into a source of income and utilizing the fame she gained after leaving Lebanon.
The former boss observed Rosie hosting live sessions every evening and speculated that she could potentially earn over Sh. 100k per evening if she remains consistent.
Identified by the TikTok handle of her two youngest kids, Maria and Cateleya, the Lebanese woman revealed that she has been supporting Rosie without providing specific details about the nature of this assistance.
In a TikTok live video, the ex-boss stated, “Rosie is going live every night, and if she keeps up with good content every night, she can make up to Sh 76,000 to Sh 153,000.”
Maria’s mom stressed that by maximizing her presence in the digital market, Rosie could potentially earn enough money to independently support her children, eliminating the need to leave them again. She urged fans and followers to visit and support Rosie’s live feeds, encouraging her to stay in Kenya.
Some observers questioned the motives of the Lebanese lady, wondering if she was taking on a ‘white messiah’ role. Initial complaints from netizens suggested that the couple might be using Rosie as a cash cow, raising concerns that are now gaining attention.
“That will be enough to take care of her kids in Kenya; support her life and send her gifts. She deserves to stay with her kids,” the lady added.
Addressing the impact of Rosie’s absence on the children, particularly the young twin girls Maria and Cateleya, their mother affirmed that the kids undeniably miss her. Although seeing her online makes them feel sad, they are gradually learning to navigate through these emotions.
“Of course, Maria and Cateleya feel bad when they see her, but they will get used to it,” the mother of five said. In a separate post, she disclosed that one twin, Maria, had been the most bonded to Rosie and had not been sleeping or eating well since Rosie’s departure.
