A 22-Year-old lady identified as Ivine Kinangu in an interview with The Standard alleged that her kidney was removed without her knowledge or consent.
According to Ivine, she was admitted at the Mbagathi Hospital for stomach problems where an operation was done.
The lady said that weeks later, she started feeling uneasiness in her lower abdomen and went to a Nairobi hospital where she was notified that she only had one kidney.
This was a shocker to her seeing that she had never donated any body parts.
Ivine claims that her kidney was removed during the stomach openation and nobody mentioned about her kidney removal.
Mbagathi Hospital has been the center of medical controversies with the latest one being that of a lady who gave birth at the hospitals gate after the staffs refused to attend to her.
