Vocal Member of Parliament, Millie Odhiambo, has tended to those who assault her for not having a biological child.
The legistrator said she has acknowledged the will of God and moved on and people should offer her a reprieve.
Millie said she is a mother of the motherless and this is something that she is pleased with.
“Those of you who always like attacking me for not having kids kindly have accepted the will of God and moved on.
“I’m a mother of the motherless and I’m proud of that,” she said.
The legistor has never been timid with regards to her inability to conceive normally.
Talking in a past talk with, Millie said she doesn’t consider about childbearing as a major issue however conceded that ladies who can’t conceive face a ton of stigma.
“I do not want to take the pain that childless women go through and trash it. But for me, childbearing is not really an issue I give a serious premium. It does not define me and women should rise above it; it should not define who they are,” she said.
