‎RIP: Photo Of Kenyan Man Who Was Killed And Body Dumped In Latrine After Night Out With Friends

‎Shock and grief have gripped Gatundu following the mysterious death of John Njuguna, a Kenyan man working in Qatar, whose body was discovered in a latrine after a night out with friends.

‎Njuguna had recently secured a job in the Gulf, completed his probation, and earned a promotion.

‎To celebrate, he went out with colleagues, but the celebration turned tragic.

‎Reports by Voo TV indicated that the 34-year-old father left his company accommodation on August 11 after sharing a meal with a colleague.

‎He later joined other Kenyans at an abandoned garage turned into a drinking den, a spot known to many but considered risky.

‎That night he never returned, and his documents and belongings were later found untouched in his room.

‎On August 29, his body was recovered in a latrine at the same drinking spot.

‎It bore blood stains and signs of a violent death.

‎The men believed to be running the den had disappeared, leaving the matter unresolved.

‎Friends and colleagues described Njuguna as calm, hard-working, and a peacemaker.

‎One colleague recalled how Njuguna had made him feel welcome in Qatar and admitted that his death broke their spirits.

‎Another said he had recently been promoted and showed no signs of stress, yet lost his life at the hands of those they considered brothers abroad.

‎A third stressed that not everyone wishes others well, noting that sometimes betrayal comes from one’s own people.

‎Instead of continuing to build a future for his family, Njuguna will now be returned home in a coffin, leaving behind a young family and colleagues mourning a man remembered for his kindness and humility.
