This article takes a look at the shrill voiced Eunice Wambui alias Nyasuguta who played the role of Mogaka’s wife. Her imitation of the Kisii accent was flawless and many were surprised to learn she is a Kikuyu.
She was born and raised in Pangani by a single mother. In an interview with Victor Watende in 2016, she also revealed she is a single mother to one son whom she adores. From a very young age, the actress loved acting. She would perform in church plays and people always commend her acting skills.
After a successful acting career, Nyasuguta decided to venture into politics. In the last general elections, she was aspiring for the Embakasi South Member of Parliament seat under the Jubilee ticket.
During an interview with Amina Abdi on K24 Alfajiri, she said that she had worked with the people of Embakasi South and had even assisted jobless youths secure jobs. She was promising to create more jobs, nurture talents and ensure each Ward has an ambulance on standby to help in emergencies.
The former Vitimbi actress also narrated that her turning point was a month ago when she was involved in her second road accident.The first incident happened in 2013, where she was left with a dented face that ultimately forced her to bleach her face.
“The dent was lighter than other parts of my face, consequently making me look like a person who has two facial complexions in one. I saw it wise to bleach so that my face gets an even skin tone. It is my mum who encouraged me,” she revealed.
“I know I got the accident to be able to get time with my God, You know we celebs, sometimes, we become so busy that we even forget to serve God.
Nyasuguta, gained widespread fame in Kenya for her role in the beloved TV show Vitimbi, which aired on KBC. Playing the role of Mogaka’s wife, Nyasuguta perfected the Kisii accent, convincing many viewers that she was a native of the Kisii tribe.

However, her real identity is quite different. Wambui hails from the Kikuyu community, as her name suggests, but her flawless portrayal of a Kisii woman earned her immense recognition.
Previously the mother of two said she has been dating jokers and that is why her relationships don’t last. She revealed that she is not in good terms with her baby daddy.Nyasuguta’s legacy in Vitimbi remains strong, and her contribution to Kenyan television.
