Raphael Tuju has revealed details of a suspected surveillance incident, claiming he was trailed by an unknown vehicle before a planned media appearance.
Tuju said he had earlier noticed he was being followed and reported the matter to authorities. The situation escalated on Saturday as he headed for an interview at Ramogi FM, when he spotted the same vehicle trailing him again—this time allegedly without number plates.
Thinking quickly, Tuju said he relied on his familiarity with the Karen area to evade the suspected pursuers. He diverted onto Nandi Road, managed to lose the vehicle, and later abandoned his car as a precaution.
The claims have raised fresh concerns over personal security and surveillance, with calls for investigations into the incident.
