Police officer detained for defiling inmate in Murang’a

A cop was on Tuesday, January 4 arrested for defiling a detainee at Kigumo Police Station in Murang’a County.

In a police report, the policeman distinguished as Letingis Lentirangoi defiled the minor on December 31 and January 1.

“Please be informed that Police Constable Letingis Lentirangoi, a police officer stationed at Muthithi Police Station was arrested following defilement complaints,” a report filed at Kigumo Police Station read in part.

The casualty let the police know that the suspect took her to an adjacent office and forcefully defiled her.
