Thee Pluto, one of Kenya’s youngest millionaires at just 23 years old, has an impressive portfolio that includes a mansion, three cars, and a lavish lifestyle. However, his path to success has been far from easy.
Born Robert Ndegwa Kamau on August 27, 1999, in Naivasha, Thee Pluto is the third of seven children.
Education
A bright content creator, Thee Pluto attended Maiela Township and Luci Amen Junior for his primary education, then went on to Githiga Boys High School in Mai Mahiu, Kiambu County. After achieving a mean grade of A-, he enrolled at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) to study Actuarial Science before switching to Economics.
The Hustling Journey
In 2017, he worked as a PTA Mathematics teacher at Bishop Oishere Secondary School in Mai Mahiu, earning Ksh. 8,000 per month. During this time, he also began exploring online business opportunities.
In 2018, Thee Pluto opened a movie shop, but it was robbed, leaving him with significant losses. He also tried his hand at YouTube, but his initial efforts did not succeed.
By 2019, he was hawking women’s shoes in Thika and taking on various other jobs, including alcohol promotion. Luck came his way when he landed a job with Vskit, earning Ksh. 15,000 per month.
In 2020, Thee Pluto left Vskit to start his own cereal shop and ventured into cryptocurrency trading. The profits enabled him to buy two pieces of land in Joska, marking his entry into real estate investment.
Rise to Fame
In 2021, he purchased his first car, a Nissan Juke, and met his girlfriend Felicity, with whom he created popular couple content. After their breakup, he bought a second car, a Toyota Prado J150, and launched the “Loyalty Test” series, which went viral and significantly boosted his YouTube channel.
YouTube Millionaire
Between 2021 and 2022, Thee Pluto’s YouTube channel flourished, earning him millions. Statistics show that he earns over Ksh. 2 million monthly from YouTube. In addition to his online success, he has a car hire business and extensive real estate investments, securing his status as a young millionaire.
