Drama unfolded at a Malili hotel when two Machakos MCAs, Francis Kavyu of Kinanie Ward and Joshua Mwonga of Masinga Central, engaged in a physical altercation over the affections of fellow MCA, Grace Mbatha, commonly known as Zera.

Ironically, it was Mule, alongside Machakos Town MP Caleb Mule, who had flown the MCAs to Malindi, ensuring their absence in the critical vote to impeach Speaker Ann Kiusya.
As Kavyu’s financial woes grew, Zera allegedly turned to another source of support, adding fuel to the already tense situation.
