President Uhuru Kenyatta has Jet out of the country and has arrived in Zambia, for the swearing in ceremony of Zambia’s new president elect Hakainde Hichilema.
The President will join several Heads of States across Africa, who have visited Zambia to witness, the historic event and a change in democracy of the country in the Central Africa.President Uhuru joins Raila Odinga, who also jetted out yesterday evening to Zambia.
Hichilema was elected President subsequent to running for the top seat multiple times defeating the outgoing President Edgar Lungu, who has already conceded defeat.
This leaves many inquiries as who will be in charge of Kenyan government, when the Head of State is out of the country, since the DP and Uhuru have totally fallen out.
As indicated by the constitution, the DP is in control when the President leaves the country. And when both the President and his deputy are out of the country, the National Assembly speaker (Justin Muturi),act as the President.
