Kiandemi, Othaya Subchief, Paul Wageni is staring at a possible jail term after he was accused of stealing two dogs belonging to an area prophet.
It is reported that the Subchief stole the dogs belonging to one Prophet Thomas Wahome of Helicopter Ministries in Nyeri.
The prophet told the court that he bought the Terrier Breed worth Ksh 300,000 in Arusha, Tanzania.
Defending himself, the Subchief said that he bought the dogs from the prophet’s mother at Ksh 200 per dog.
He added that he gave the lady Ksh400 and left with the dogs adding that one dog has already died and he has just been left with a female one.
The prophet termed Paul as a thief and asked the court to compel him to pay damages incurred.
The case will be mentioned again on 29th, November.
