Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism has once again sparked controversy on social media with another video that recently surfaced online.
In the video, whose date is unspecified, Pastor Ng’ang’a is heard making a provocative statement to his congregation, offering a cash reward of Ksh 1,000,000 to anyone who can prove the absence of HIV/AIDS infection in any Luo individual.
The televangelist expresses his disapproval of what he perceives as immoral behavior within society, specifically targeting the Luo community, suggesting that they are headed towards damnation.
“These people from Nyanza continue to anger God. Hellfire is expanding because of them. Show me a Luo without HIV, and I’ll give them one million…” remarked Ng’ang’a.
The video has triggered a backlash on social media, with users accusing Pastor Ng’ang’a of promoting tribalism in the country. Many are calling on relevant authorities to take action against the preacher for his controversial statements.
