Zuchu has responded to those who have been pressuring her to get her own child with her boyfriend Diamond Platinumz.
Addressing the media ahead of a Kids festival where she will be one of the performers, Zuchu said she doesn’t need to give birth for her to become a mother.
The Tanzanian songbird noted that Diamond’s children are her children as well, saying that that is a blessing to her.
“Forgive me but I already have children and I usually come with them here. I have children with Nasibu, all of them are my children. I am already a mother. Giving birth is not the only way that can make you a mother, you can be a mother through raising a child, or being an aunt to your siblings’ children. I have been blessed to be a mother to my fellow woman’s children. That is enough for me for now,” Zuchu said.
The couple recently split up for a week before reuniting again. In her breakup announcement, Zuchu said that they had mutually agreed to part ways after being together for three years.
“This was a mutual decision from both parties. We do have an upcoming project, so don’t be surprised when it is released. I wish Simba the absolute best. I am asking my good people for your endless positive support as my main focus now is healing and my career, ” she said.
