KRG The Don, a well-known Kenyan Instagram personality and Gengetone artist, recently addressed questions about his romantic life. The father of three found himself in the spotlight during the Wash Wash Icon 4 Premiere, where he faced inquiries from bloggers on the red carpet, joined by various A-list celebrities in Kenya.
The artist’s love life took center stage in the public discourse, triggered by netizens’ comments on a post involving Tanzanian socialite Hamissa Mobeto, currently in the country. Fans speculated that KRG and the mother of two would make a perfect couple, asserting that he was the only Kenyan man capable of winning over the Tanzanian beauty.
During the premiere, KRG responded to the speculations, emphasizing that he was not actively seeking romantic connections and preferred to be a mere observer in the realm of love. He admitted to being selective in matters of the heart, stating that he only directed his affection towards one person at a time.
“Unajua mimi sio mtu wa mapenzi mapenzi sana mimi napendanga tu mtu mmoja, na kwa sasa niko benchi sichezi pale fast 11, nimeambiwa kwanza nipoe kidogo, baas niko tu kwa benchi naskiza baridi yangu,” he explained.
The artist also faced questioning about his unfulfilled promise to reveal the identity of his current romantic partner. KRG clarified that he had nothing to conceal and was simply awaiting approval from his partner, who, for the time being, preferred to remain anonymous.
“Akikubali ile siku atakubali sawa lakini kwa sasa anataka kuremain anonymous,” he added.
Notably, KRG The Don is a father of three boys, whom he shares with his ex-wife Lynnette Kiruthi. He has full custody of the children, and they reside with him.
