“Niko Kwa Soko! sio lazima ukuwe na PESA” Marakwet Daughter Says She’s Single Gives Conditions To Date Her

Jepkorir, widely recognized as the Marakwet Daughter and celebrated for her viral track ‘Mali Safi Chito,’ has confidently declared her single status, accompanied by explicit prerequisites for those aspiring to be her partner.

During a recent interview with vloggers, the Marakwet Daughter dismissed speculations about her being in a relationship, despite frequently sharing photos alongside different men on social media.

Clarifying her relationship status, Jepkorir, whose stage name pays homage to her Marakwet roots, remarked, “Having a man is not undesirable, but currently, I haven’t walked down the aisle. As you can observe, there’s no ring on my finger. I am still available. Approach me, but come prepared. Otherwise, you might realize you’re unprepared. I am on the market, akin to dates.”

She candidly disclosed earlier this month that she entered into marriage at the tender age of 16, driven by the aspiration to escape her family’s poverty. As a young bride, she encountered formidable challenges within the marriage, enduring five years of adversity before summoning the courage to leave her husband and return home.

“I didn’t attend high school. I got married at 16. The circumstances were so harsh that I preferred the life I had at home over the one in my marital home. I left him when I turned 21. It was a tumultuous journey,” she revealed.

Despite enduring years of hardship, she emphasizes her resilience and determination. Now single, having experienced the harsh realities of matrimony, she advises potential suitors to approach her with a well-conceived plan, warning them that they’ll discover their lack of preparation if they don’t.
