The primary supporter of Azimio la Umoja, Nuru Okanga, garnered widespread attention across various social media platforms, particularly on Twitter, when he asserted that he had secured a prominent position among the top performers in the KCPE 2023. According to Okanga, he achieved an impressive score of 401 marks in the examination.
In a boastful online display, the aspiring politician confidently declared that the exam posed no challenge to him, leaving him with only one option—to excel with flying colors, a feat he claims to have successfully accomplished. Currently awaiting the selection process, Okanga expressed his anticipation to join Alliance Boys.
Contrary to Okanga’s assertions, a self-proclaimed teacher from Mumias Muslim Primary School, where Okanga purportedly took his KCPE exams, has come forward to set the record straight. In an interview, the teacher disputed Okanga’s claimed performance, stating that the school has no knowledge of such an outstanding achievement by Okanga. According to the teacher, Okanga’s statements are merely a facade, a theatrical performance aimed at deceiving Kenyans.
The teacher emphatically conveyed that Okanga did not demonstrate the academic prowess required to achieve such high marks. From the school’s perspective, the results have been released, and Okanga’s purported score of 401 marks is nowhere near accurate. The teacher asserted that Okanga’s actions are part of a political strategy, utilizing viral publicity to enhance his fame, while simultaneously misleading the public with falsehoods. It is incumbent upon Kenyans, the teacher argued, to discern the difference between Okanga’s political maneuvers and the truth surrounding his academic performance.
