Renowned Kenyan female celebrity, YouTuber, and content creator, Mungai Eve, has recently disclosed the substantial financial offer she received to sell her highly popular YouTube channel, currently ranking among the top channels with the most subscribers in Kenya.
In an interview with DNA, who has recently returned to the music industry with a new interview show after a period of silence, Mungai Eve shared that her YouTube channel garnered significant attention from both individuals and well-known organizations.
Reflecting on her YouTube journey, Eve revealed that she embarked on this venture two years ago in 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Remarkably, it only took her one day and one video, featuring the renowned Sheng master Madocho, to amass 1000 subscribers and accumulate 4000 watch hours. This initial video served as the breakthrough moment for her channel.
The rapid growth of her channel drew the interest of various organizations and affluent individuals, who proposed substantial amounts of money to acquire it. Mungai Eve disclosed that she declined an offer of Ksh. 10 Million from a tycoon associated with a specific organization, citing her commitment to the vision she had for her content.
Presently, Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel boasts over 560,000 subscribers, generating a monthly income exceeding Ksh. 1.5 Million. The success of her channel has not only allowed her to fulfill the life she once envisioned but has also facilitated significant personal milestones, such as purchasing a car and diversifying her investments in various fields.
