” Navaa Kama Tom Boy”Shix Kapienga reveals why no man want to date her

Renowned Kenyan actress Nancy Wanjiku Karanja, popularly known as Shix Kapienga, recently offered a candid glimpse into her love life, shedding light on the reasons behind her single status. During an exclusive interview with Comedian Dr. Ofweneke on Tv47, Shix Kapienga attributed her relationship status to the misconceptions surrounding her upbringing in the Ghetto.

In the interview, Shix openly discussed the perception that men fear dating her due to her Ghetto background, stating, “Men assume I am too ghetto for them to date me.” Ofweneke delved further into the matter, questioning whether Shix’s choice of clothing played a role in men being hesitant to approach her.

In response, Shix defended her casual style, explaining that her Ghetto upbringing does not necessitate extravagant or complicated outfits. She emphasized, “In the ghetto, I would just rock my jeans and T-shirt and move on. Why would I wear a dress?”

The talented actress also reflected on the challenges she faced growing up in the Kangemi neighborhood, emphasizing the importance of working hard to overcome life’s obstacles.

During the interview, Shix shared insights into her acting journey, recounting her experience working alongside the award-winning actress Lupita Nyongo in Shuga 2. Shix expressed deep admiration for Lupita’s kindness, friendliness, humility, and warmth. Reflecting on their time together on set, she stated, “Lupita was very nice, very friendly, very humble, very loving, by the way.”

Amidst their professional connection, Shix humorously narrated her quest to find a tweet from Lupita mentioning her. She remarked, “I acted with Lupita, but do I say. Umewahi tafuta tweet!? Well, it is X now, have you ever scrolled for a tweet where she wrote and mentioned me? Aki, I have looked for it, nimetafuta hio tweet sijawahi pata, mpaka wa leo.”
