Renowned Kenyan actress Nancy Wanjiku Karanja, popularly known as Shix Kapienga, recently offered a candid glimpse into her love life, shedding light on the reasons behind her single status. During an exclusive interview with Comedian Dr. Ofweneke on Tv47, Shix Kapienga attributed her relationship status to the misconceptions surrounding her upbringing in the Ghetto.
In the interview, Shix openly discussed the perception that men fear dating her due to her Ghetto background, stating, “Men assume I am too ghetto for them to date me.” Ofweneke delved further into the matter, questioning whether Shix’s choice of clothing played a role in men being hesitant to approach her.
In response, Shix defended her casual style, explaining that her Ghetto upbringing does not necessitate extravagant or complicated outfits. She emphasized, “In the ghetto, I would just rock my jeans and T-shirt and move on. Why would I wear a dress?”
