In a recent Instagram Q&A session, comedian Mulamwah opened up about the challenges he faces in supporting his daughter, Keilah. Responding to a fan’s inquiry about his commitment to his daughter, Mulamwah candidly shared his struggles.
Mulamwah revealed that it has been quite a struggle for him to be actively involved in his daughter’s life. He has made several attempts to provide financial support, but these efforts have been met with hurdles. Even on Keilah’s birthday, he attempted to send a gift, but it was returned, leaving him perplexed about the underlying issue.
Mulamwah has previously explained why he keeps his daughter out of his content creation. His primary reason for not involving her in his public life is his yearning for peace and tranquility. He values his personal serenity and chooses to maintain a boundary between his professional life and his family life, ensuring that any family-related matters remain private and drama-free.
When it comes to questions about visiting his daughter, Mulamwah preferred not to delve into the topic, considering it a sensitive matter that he didn’t want to discuss openly.
More recently, Mulamwah hinted at his girlfriend Ruth’s pregnancy, which led to a response from his baby mama, Carrol Sonnie. She clarified that Keilah is not Mulamwah’s only child, stating that they now have a baby together.
Sonnie vehemently refuted claims that she is using Keilah for monetary gain. She emphasized that any financial support she receives is directed towards Keilah’s necessities, such as diapers, and is intended for the child’s well-being, not for her personal benefit.
Sonnie firmly denied ever preventing Mulamwah from seeing his daughter, emphasizing her willingness to facilitate their interaction. She firmly rejected any accusations of exploiting their daughter for financial gain, asserting that both Keilah and herself are brands that are simply striving to make their lives more comfortable. The financial support they receive is solely dedicated to meeting Keilah’s needs, with no ulterior motives.
In Sonnie’s words, “How can I use my kid as a job or bait? Keilah is my child, she is my daughter, I don’t have to be told that I’m using her for monetary gain. That money is for Keilah, it goes towards her expenses, such as diapers and her well-being. It does not benefit me personally; it is all for the child’s sake.”
