Rapper King Kaka’s wife, Nana Owiti, recently opened up about a challenging period in their relationship. She revealed that she once decided to end their relationship for seven months due to King Kaka’s infidelity with renowned singer Sage Chemtai, which resulted in the birth of a child.
During an interview with Massawe Jappani on Radio Jambo, Nana shared the emotional turmoil she experienced when she learned about King Kaka’s affair. She expressed feeling heartbroken and, given the circumstances, chose to separate from him for seven months, even though she was expecting their first child together.
Nana described the situation as an “ultimate betrayal” and acknowledged that both of them had their flaws. Despite the pain, she decided to reconcile with King Kaka after he sincerely apologized for his actions.
“The only reason I chose to stay after what happened is because of how he handled it afterward. He apologized. We all make mistakes, we all carry baggage, and in this case, his mistake was cheating on me. I also had my faults,” Nana shared during the interview.
She emphasized that they have since worked through their issues, and their relationship is now in a better place. Nana attributed some of the challenges to the early stages of their relationship when King Kaka was striving to establish himself in the music industry. Despite the hurdles, they managed to overcome the difficulties and rebuild their connection.
