Nairobi: Shock as Husband Finally Reveals Who Was Last Seen with His Wife Before She Went Missing

The sudden disappearance of 47-year-old Nairobi businesswoman Susan Wangeci Karingi has left her family in anguish, with fresh revelations now pointing to a mysterious woman last seen with her before she vanished.

Susan left her Pipeline home on May 14, intending to attend a chama meeting before heading to Eastleigh to restock her shop.

Her husband, Joseph Maina, last spoke to her around 2 p.m., when she confirmed her shopping plans.

That was the last time he heard from her.

As evening fell and Susan failed to return home, Maina’s concern grew. Repeated calls to her phone went unanswered, and by 10 p.m., the device had gone off completely.

The next morning, he began a desperate search across Eastleigh, asking vendors and reviewing CCTV footage.

One disturbing clue emerged: Susan was reportedly seen with an unidentified woman shortly before she went missing.

Efforts to trace this woman have so far been unsuccessful, deepening the mystery around her disappearance.

Maina, a father of two, says his wife had no enemies and was faithfully repaying a chama loan, dismissing any suggestion of financial trouble.

The couple, married for over 20 years, had no recent conflicts, he says.

Their twin daughters, currently in college, are devastated.

The family is appealing to anyone who might have information to come forward.

CCTV footage from Eastleigh confirms Susan was in the area that afternoon.

Her phone last pinged near a local social hall at 2:29 p.m., offering the final trace before all communication ceased.

As police continue their investigation, Susan’s loved ones cling to hope, pleading for her safe return.
