Murang’a twins who scored 407 and 409 in KCPE both gets A in KCSE

Esther Wangeci, a mother of two identical twins, is filled with pride as her sons, Jesse Kamwaro and Jason, have achieved exceptional results in their KCSE exams.

The identical twins, Jesse and Jason, have not only become sources of inspiration but have also brought immense pride to their family due to their outstanding academic performance.

These two individuals, with an uncanny resemblance, have etched their names in the educational records by securing remarkable grades in the KCSE exams, both achieving straight As. Their notable achievement stands out among 263 candidates.

Despite sharing not only a genetic makeup but also a common aspiration of pursuing computer science at Strathmore University, Jason and Jesse scored 84 and 82 points, respectively, further highlighting their academic excellence.

What adds to the significance of their accomplishment is the consistency they have maintained throughout their academic journey, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

This is not the first time the twins have achieved parallel success. In the KCPE exams, they scored 407 and 409 marks, setting the stage for their high school journey at the same institution. Despite being in different classes, they opted for identical subjects, maintaining a remarkably similar academic trajectory.

In an interview, Jesse shared, “I scored 82 points, and my brother got 84 points. We both want to pursue the same course at Strathmore University.” Jason echoed this sentiment, expressing their shared ambition to become software engineers in prestigious tech companies like Netflix and Google.

Esther Wangechi and the wider family are thrilled by the twins’ accomplishments. Esther noted that the similar grades weren’t surprising, emphasizing the twins’ consistency and discipline over the years. She expressed gratitude, saying, “We pray that they continue that way into their future.”

The deputy principal of Pioneer School, Daniel Mwaura, commended the achievements of the twins and their peers, highlighting the school’s success in producing over 200 candidates with university entry grades.

As part of a motivation program facilitated by the school’s director, Peter Munga, each of the four students who scored A grades received awards of up to Sh100,000.
