In a candid video, Mulamwah revealed that after completing his studies, he secured an internship at Kenyatta Hospital. Coming from a modest background, he and his family had to sell a sheep to cover the transportation costs to Nairobi.

Upon arriving in the city, Mulamwah faced the challenge of finding accommodation and ended up spending a week sleeping at Jeevanjee Gardens until a relative eventually came to his rescue. Financially strained, he resided with his relative along Outering Road, often having to walk from Outering to KNH due to budget constraints. Despite the hardships, Mulamwah remained optimistic about the future.

As a diligent nurse at KNH during his three-month internship, Mulamwah earned a monthly stipend of Ksh.90,000. At the end of the internship, he received his first salary in Nairobi, amounting to Ksh.270,000, a pivotal moment that transformed his life.

Empowered by this significant sum, Mulamwah decided to move into a new residence, opting for a Ksh.6,500 per month bedsitter located in a ghetto area. Despite his newfound financial stability, he chose to live in a more humble environment.

With a steady income, Mulamwah continued working at KNH for 10 months, earning Ksh.90,000 per month along with other allowances. It was during this period that one of his videos went viral, propelling him into celebrity status in Kenya.
