This revelation has left Mwathi’s family devastated, as they remain in the dark about who might have taken the life of their beloved. They feel justice has not been served. In a bid for answers, Mama Jeff has taken to social media to share her side of the story, alleging that Jeff met his end within DJ Fatxo’s residence.
During a TikTok live session, Jeff Mwathi’s mother recounted a chilling detail: Jeff had attempted to reach out to her during the fatal incident. However, due to technical issues, their connection faltered, exacerbated by the use of a VPN. She recalls his last uttered word, “mum,” conveying a sense of distress and urgency.
Regrettably, she was unable to intervene due to the connectivity issues, leading her to harbor a deep resentment towards VPN technology. She wonders if a stable connection could have facilitated her son’s rescue. Furthermore, she accuses Fatxo and his associates of tampering with Jeff’s phone post-mortem, further implicating Fatxo in the tragedy.
DJ Fatxo maintains his innocence, suggesting that Jeff took his own life. In an interview with Massawe Jappani, Fatxo alluded to purported discord between Jeff and his girlfriend before departing the club.
