Authorities are currently conducting investigations into the tragic killing of a 42-year-old female entrepreneur at her residence in Chamgiwadu Trading Centre, located in Rongo Sub County, Migori County.
The discovery of Elizabeth’s lifeless body, found in a pool of blood on May 12, 2024, by her family members, prompted the launch of a police inquiry.
Chief Maurice Ayieko of South West location confirmed the distressing incident, revealing that Elizabeth had sustained stab wounds around her neck.
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the murder, though law enforcement continues to diligently pursue leads.
Chief Ayieko also noted that the identities of those responsible for Elizabeth’s murder remain unknown. Additionally, recent events have heightened concerns, with a watchman also being fatally attacked in Rongo town, coinciding with the theft of various school items from Rongo Primary School, just days prior.
