Celebrated comedian Eddie Butita went viral after attending Abel Mutua’s Juice Party in Eldoret without a partner.The funny man faced criticism from some of his fans and friends, who questioned why he still hadn’t found a significant other.
In an effort to help him, Abel Mutua jokingly suggested taking leave to assist Butita in his search for a wife, so he would no longer have to third-wheel.
After the Juice Party, the comedian visited his grandmother’s home with his friends.
The visit turned into a humorous lecture from his grandmother, who asked Butita when he would bring a partner home. “Alete bado mimi niko namna hii,” she said. “Unachelewa kuletea khuku (shosho) mtu.”
Butita responded with a playful “press release” on social media:
“PRESS RELEASE: This is to notify that @abelmutua has been BANNED from visiting our home until further notice. This kind of incitement for grandmothers will not be tolerated under my leadership 😂😂😂😂”
Abel Mutua replied with determination:
“We shall not relent!!! Tunachukua leave tuingie vijijini. Na HATUTOKI mpaka kijana apate mtu.”
