TV Girl Muthoni Mukiri Explains Why Quiting Inooro TV Was Her Hardest Decision Ever

Muthoni Mukiri, a former presenter for Inooro TV, is one of the many media personalities who decided to leave their jobs in 2020. According to her, quitting her job at the Kikuyu TV station was one of the toughest decisions she has ever made.

In a recent video on her YouTube channel, Mukiri hinted at the possibility that she quit her job to focus on her entrepreneurial pursuits. “I had been thinking about leaving my job for a while, but I didn’t know where to start. I had already set up some side businesses and investments, but my job had grown to become very close to my audience. They felt like my children,” she stated.

Mukiri expressed her concern that leaving her job would mean losing the connection she had built with her audience. “I went through a lot of anxiety and migraines before making the decision. It was truly heartbreaking to leave, but I had to do it for my own personal growth,” she said.

She officially quit her job on December 18th, 2020 and announced it on her social media platforms. “It’s been an amazing five years, but my journey at Inooro TV has come to an end. I want to thank all my fans, supporters, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout that journey. I will miss you dearly,” she said.

Mukiri has multiple businesses, including the Mukiri Hair Hub, a premium wigs and human hair retail store that has attracted top local celebrities such as Citizen TV news anchor Mashirima Kapombe, Comedian Teacher Wanjiku, and Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Ngirici.
