Interior CS, Fred Matiang’i’s Personal assistant, David Onyancha on Saturday, September 11, payed a courtesy call to a woman who was captured being pushed away from the CS.
The lady, Christine Nyakundi was on September 7, seen breaching Matiang’i’s security as he tried to board his chopper in Nyamira County.
Murang’a Newspaper has established that the CSs’ PA visited the lady at her home in Kenyerere Bobasi, Kisii County.
David promised to make sure that the area security is beefed up and Nyakundi’s family gets support.
I really appreciate the move by the CS and I will now take my time to discuss more issues with him,
she said.
We have serious security concerns in the two constituencies and that is the message I wanted to give the CS. However, the police officers did not give me time to speak to him,
she earlier told a local media station in the interview.
