Controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari has taken a swipe at critics of President William Ruto, claiming that most of those chanting “one-term” are poor and simply blaming the Head of State for their financial struggles.
“Maskini ndio wanasema wantam, wanafikiria Ruto ndio amewafanya wakakosa pesa,” Kanyari remarked during a recent address, sparking mixed reactions among Kenyans.
His comments have ignited a heated online debate, with some agreeing that citizens should take personal responsibility for their economic situation, while others accused the pastor of being insensitive to the real challenges facing ordinary Kenyans.
Kanyari, known for his controversial statements, maintained that complaining would not change one’s circumstances, urging people to focus on hard work and prayer instead.
