Lang’ata (MP)Jalang’o Lookalike Cries Out After Jalang’o Only Gave Out Sh 1k After Meetup

Stanley Mulee Mutisya, who bears a striking resemblance to Lang’ata Member of Parliament (MP) Jalang’o, has voiced his frustration over unmet promises made by the MP.

Mutisya’s first encounter with Jalang’o was in November 2021 during an interview on Jalang’o TV. During this appearance, Jalang’o publicly pledged to make a significant difference in Mutisya’s life.

Despite this commitment, Mutisya asserts that he only received Sh 1,000 following the interview, a sum that left him feeling disillusioned. In a recent interview, Mutisya detailed how this money was spent: Sh 600 on a taxi fare, Sh 200 given to his companion, and the remaining Sh 200 used for his journey home.

Mutisya expressed disappointment that this modest amount fell far short of the transformative change he had been led to expect from Jalang’o’s promise. He often encounters comments about his resemblance to the MP, including playful remarks from his landlord. However, these superficial similarities contrast sharply with his financial struggles, including difficulties with timely rent payments, exacerbating his frustration.

“I only benefited from Sh 100,” Mutisya said, underscoring the limited assistance he received. He also noted that his attempts to contact Jalang’o via text messages have mostly gone unanswered or received delayed replies.

Mutisya is now questioning the sincerity of Jalang’o’s pledge, wondering if it was merely a stunt for the show. “If it was just part of the show, he should let me know,” Mutisya concluded.
