“Kwenda Kanisa Ingine wewe” Pastor Ng’ang’a Causes Stir After chasing Woman out of Church night Service

Renowned preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre has once again attracted public attention after a dramatic moment in his church during a recent night vigil (kesha).

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Pastor Ng’ang’a is seen calling out an elderly woman during the service, reportedly after noticing her sitting with her head down and holding her cheeks—possibly out of exhaustion.

Instead of ignoring the moment or handling it privately, the pastor approached her directly and instructed her to leave the church. In the clip, he’s heard saying:
“Is this one sick or what? Get up and go to another church. I’m not looking for those who are dying, I’m looking for those who are alive.”

He further emphasized his firm approach to running the ministry, saying:
“If you won’t listen to my instructions, don’t come here. I am the commander here—this is not just a church; it’s a barracks.”

The clip has sparked a range of reactions online. Some social media users expressed concern over the pastor’s tone, while others defended his leadership style:

  • “Kwa commander hakuna kulala!” one user joked.
  • “I pity his members, kwani mmerogwa!” another commented, showing concern.
  • Others called for empathy, noting that dismissing an elderly woman at night could compromise her safety.

Despite the divided opinions, Pastor Ng’ang’a remains one of the most followed and talked-about religious leaders in Kenya. His unique approach to ministry continues to stir conversation both online and offline.
