Popular Bunge la Wanainchi political analyst, Nuru Okanga, has given Kenyans a glimpse of his village home, proudly showcasing the progress he has made despite coming from a very humble background.
Okanga revealed that he has been putting his earnings from politics to good use, not only supporting his family but also investing back in his community.
Through the support of leaders and friends, he has managed to achieve notable milestones. MP Peter Salasya built him a house in the village worth Ksh.70,000, while Oscar Sudi gifted him a Ksh.150,000 posho mill, which has since become a steady income stream for him.

In addition, Okanga has ventured into poultry farming within his compound, selling chicken to boost his daily earnings. Recently, he also bought himself a brand-new motorbike worth Ksh.70,000.
Looking ahead, Okanga has set his eyes on leadership. He has boldly declared his intention to vie for the MCA seat in 2027, promising to transform his village and uplift the lives of locals.
