Controversial car dealer Khalif Kairo has broken his silence about the month he spent behind bars, revealing how the experience became a turning point in his life. During his one-month jail term, Kairo says he found both safety and spiritual growth, using the time to read the entire Bible and reflect deeply on his life.
In an interview with Obinna TV, Kairo shared that the period of incarceration offered him a unique opportunity for personal transformation. Under the protection of police officers, he felt secure and was able to focus on self-improvement without fear for his safety.
Kairo said he made the most of the solitude by immersing himself in spiritual practices. He read the Bible cover to cover, which he believes strengthened his relationship with God. In addition, he read biographies and documentaries about other prominent individuals who had overcome similar hardships.
By the time he walked out of prison, Kairo said he felt like a renewed man—ready to better himself, live more righteously, and grow closer to God.
