He spoke about this when asked about his son Morgan’s girlfriend at a young age. In an interview with an online media outlet, Bahati expressed his disappointment when his son introduced his girlfriend to the public. He still strongly opposes the idea of his young son being in a relationship and has warned him about it.
The reason behind his disapproval is because it could potentially hinder his son’s education. Bahati himself had experienced this when his first love, Nancy, left him just a few months before his KCSE exams. Being his first love, the experience deeply affected him, causing him to be mentally stressed and unable to focus on his studies. Consequently, he did not achieve the grades he desired.
Bahati strongly believes that his son needs to focus on his education and other important aspects of his life before getting involved in any romantic relationships. He has had discussions with his wife, Diana, and is confident that his son’s relationship will not repeat his own experience.
