Nazizi Hirji is a well-known figure in the music industry, previously a member of the East African Bashment Crew and now a radio presenter at Vybez radio. Recently, she took to her Instagram page to give Kenyans a tour of her newly completed mansion after a two-year journey.
The Mansion
The two-story white building with black exterior skirting is a stunning sight. The large windows allow ample light to enter the house, with solar panels on the tiles and gutters running around the mansion. There is an equally beautiful house next to the main house, with a crystal blue swimming pool in between. The mansion is surrounded by a fence wall, and the large trees give it a cozy feel. The green natural flower bushes at the entrance complement the appearance of the luxurious mansion.
Struggles
Nazizi explained that it was not an easy journey, taking over two years to complete the project. She thanked her family, particularly her father, for being a support throughout the journey.
“After two years of hard work, my dream home is almost complete! People only see the glamour, few know the story,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.
She shared how she was forced to move into the home before it was fully completed, but she never gave up on the dream of having a fully furnished home.
“We lived here with no electricity for six months, no floors, no ceilings… but we never gave up. I want to thank my father for being a rock throughout the entire process,” she wrote. “I’m sharing this with you to encourage you to never give up, no matter how big or impossible the dream seems. #Alhamdulillah.”
