The sensational street personality known as Dem wa Facebook recently expressed her opinion on the status of Krg The Don in Kenya’s music industry, asserting that he falls short of Stevo Simple Boy’s impact. During an interview with Trudy Kitui, she aligned herself with lawmaker Jalas in acknowledging Stevo Simple Boy for his contributions to the vibrancy of Kenya’s artistic landscape.
Dem wa Facebook elaborated on her perspective, contending that Krg The Don, particularly in his Time Bomb song featuring Konshens, assumed the role of a vixen rather than a singer, contrary to popular belief. She went on to claim that without the collaboration with Jamaican artist Konshens, Krg would not have gained recognition as a singer in Kenya. Moreover, she asserted that even if Krg were to collaborate with a renowned artist like Diamond Platnumz, the resulting song would not make waves on Kenya’s media airwaves.
“Krg is like a chiwawa. Even if he teams up with Diamond Platnumz, that song won’t make an impact. He’s just a chiwawa,” remarked Dem wa Facebook.
In contrast, while diminishing Krg’s standing, she lavished praise on Stevo Simple Boy, likening him to Kenya’s Diamond Platnumz. She lauded Simple Boy for his faithfulness and humility, predicting that these qualities would propel him to great heights in the Kenyan music industry as long as he maintained his genuine personality.
“Stevo can’t be compared to artists like Willy Paul. He’s humble, polite, and faithful,” she enthusiastically hyped the rapper.
Offering advice to Simple Boy, Dem wa Facebook suggested that he distance himself from ex-girlfriends if he aspires to thrive socially. Additionally, she cautioned him to be discerning about collaboration partners, emphasizing the need to give opportunities to other Kenyan artists while being vigilant against those who might seek to exploit his talent.
