Kameme FM’s Muthoni Wa Kirumba talks about her baby daddy

Esteemed radio personality Muthoni Wa Kirumba recently provided a glimpse into her personal life, particularly her journey through motherhood, during a candid interview on Kameme FM. While openly discussing her role as a mother, she opted not to extensively delve into the details of her current relationship status.

Nevertheless, when the subject of her child’s father arose, Muthoni did not shy away from addressing it. In response to questions about her baby daddy, she revealed, “Yes, I have a child who is turning 10 years old now. I am not married, but the baby daddy is in the picture.”

When the host probed further, expressing fans’ curiosity about the identity of her baby daddy, Muthoni responded with a humorous tone, saying, “About the baby daddy, who wants to know about him? Do they want to have children with him?” Her laughter echoed during the course of the interview.

Recent speculations have linked the radio personality romantically to Mugithii Maestro, Waithaka Wa Jane, making their relationship a hot topic both on and off the airwaves, captivating the attention of their audience.

In a previous interview, Muthoni opened up about a past incident involving a confrontation with her then-co-host, Keziah wa Kariuki (Kiengei’s baby mama), during a live show. This altercation led to a suspension for both broadcasters. The clash reportedly stemmed from rumors Keziah was allegedly spreading about Muthoni being involved in drug use.

Expressing her aversion to gossip, Muthoni confronted Keziah about the rumors, resulting in a physical altercation. She shared, “I hate gossip, and so I confronted her about it, and she shrugged it off. As the music ended, I slapped her since she became rude in her response.” The suspension lasted two weeks for Muthoni and one week for Keziah.

Despite the incident, the two continued working together, eventually establishing a cordial relationship on air. Muthoni emphasized that they are good friends today, with Keziah being one of the first friends she made upon arriving in Nairobi.
