Many assume that living and working overseas for years guarantees a wealthy return, but an elderly Kenyan woman has shared that after 11 years in America, she is coming back home with nothing to show.
She recounted that she left Kenya to work in the United States as a nanny after losing everything during the 2007 election violence. She spent six years working in that role until she felt a divine calling. According to her, God directed her to stop working as a nanny and devote herself to preaching the gospel.
Throughout her time in the U.S., she has never had her own home and has relied on the hospitality of people she ministers to, who have offered her food and shelter. While not everyone she preached to assisted her, she is grateful to those who have extended support along the way.
Now, she feels it is the right time to return to Kenya, though she has nothing saved for the journey. She hopes that generous well-wishers could donate 400,000 shillings, which would enable her to come back home with gratitude and peace of mind.
