As the country is in high gears to fight and mitigate the rise of Covid-19 in the country, Ichagaki Ward MCA, Charles Mwangi has been praised by his area residents for the free medical drive and Covid-19 vaccinations initiative.
The celebrated MCA who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Technology is in a mission to make sure that his residents are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Speaking at Ichagaki, the MCA stated that he will make sure that every individual in his ward will get the jab which will help in lowering the infection rates.
“I started the initiative to my residents in an aim of fighting the Covid-19 rise. Every resident of Ichagaki will get the jab for free and the drive will be all over my ward,” Charles stated.
“I would like to request my people to avail themselves for the vaccine as this is the only sure way to fight the pandemic,” he added.
Ichagaki sub-location assistant chief, Oscar Mwaura also wooed area residents to turn up in their numbers and get vaccinated noting that the jab is free.
“I would like to ask Ichagaki residents to show up and get the free vaccination brought by our area MCA, Bwana Charles. No one will be charged soo there is no reason for not coming to get the vaccine,” he said.
The MCA who is a force to reckon and who according to sources might vie for the Murang’a County Senatorial position or the Maragua Constituency Member of Parliament seat also stated that once he will declare his stand, residents should vote him in seeing that he has initiated major projects in his ward and will be readily available to initiate major programs to benefit the residents of Murang’a.
According to a survey by GEMA Productions, Charles Mwangi ranks higher than most of his competitors and if he decides to run for Senator or MP, will clentch the seat by over 67% of the votes.
