“I was not in my right mind”- Kang’ata Says Tangatanga Has Brought Him Nothing But Heartaches.

Murang’a Senator, Irungu Kang’ata seems to be considering making a u-turn when it comes to matters Tangatanga and Kieleweke factions.

This comes in the wake of Kang’ata finally admitting that joining the Tangatanga has brought him nothing but constant heartache.

“I lost my many bodyguards, allowances totalling Ksh 500,000 per month, and a government vehicle. Even me I am yet to understand. I think Tanga Tanga has some magic,” he said.

The Senator was stripped off his position as Senate Majority whip and replaced by Kiambu senator, Kimani Wamatangi on February 9, after writing a letter to President Kenyatta informing him that the BBI Bill was unpopular in the Mt. Kenya Region.

In other news, Murang’a County Governor, Mwangi Wa Iria is said to be considering dropping his presidential ambitions.

A close source talking exclusively to Murang’a Newspaper, Wa Iria is said to be in talks with Jamleck Kamau who according to a survey by The Star, is said to be the unopposed 2022 Murang’a Gubernatorial candidate.

The source also implied that Wa Iria might be eyeing a Cabinet Secretarial position after the 2022 General Elections.
