Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has come out cautioning Kenyans against voting in Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader, Raila Odinga as the next president.
She said that the former Prime Minister is a clueless person who has no vision for the country and is only interested in the President title.
Wanjiru was speaking on Thursday where she was championing for United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leader, William Ruto ahead of the August polls.
“Mimi zamani kabla sijafika mahali nimefika, nilikuwa pande ile ingine. Mzee Raila hata ukijaribu kumwambia kuwa uko na maonotujengee watu masoko, hana maono. He doesn’t understand vision,” Wanjiru said.
”Nikiwa Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Housing nilimwambia hapa lazima tujengee watu choo kwa slums hakuna choo, na mimi nikiwa pia mbunge wa Mathare wacha tuanze na choo ziko na bafu tupatie watu wetu, akaniambia ile sehemu mimi nawakilisha that is not a problem,” she said.
Odinga and Ruto are the main candidates for presidency in the upcoming General Election in a race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
