“Watu wadate watu wanawezana na wao. Saa hii stress yangu ni ya pesa kubwa. I need stock kama ya Ksh.500,000 kutoa stock yangu Mombasa, so we ukikuja na salary yako ya Ksh.80,000 tutasaidiana aje?” (People should date those they are compatible with. Right now, my stress revolves around large sums of money, like Ksh500,000 to source my stock from Mombasa. If you come with your Ksh80,000 salary, how will we help each other?) Liz said. She went on to assert that a man unable to provide Ksh500,000 in an emergency is not suitable for her.

She also clarified that her perspective stems from fairness rather than pride, stating that she does not want to burden a man earning less than she does. “If you’re earning Ksh150,000 and I earn more, I would not want to stress you,” she said.
