Kenyan influencer and content creator Pritty Vishy has shared an unfiltered look into her painful recovery journey after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
The outspoken social media personality revealed that she recently had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and tummy tuck at a Kenyan clinic. Three weeks later, she took to her YouTube channel to update fans on the reality behind the glamorous results.
Wearing a faja—a tight body-shaping garment from her mid-torso to her thighs—Pritty explained that it helps reduce swelling, keep the transferred fat in place, and train her body to adapt to its new shape.
However, the healing process has been far from easy.
“I can’t bend or sit without a special pillow. I woke up swollen and in so much discomfort. I haven’t had my massage for two days,” she said, describing sharp pain in her stomach area.
One detail that shocked fans was her admission that she had not showered in three weeks since the operation, as doctors advised her to protect her incisions and dressings.
“Yesterday I went to get my dressing changed. I want to show you the dressing, nothing much. I have been in pain,” she told her audience.
Pritty is currently recovering at the home of her close friend, Becky Akinyi, who is helping her with daily care.
Her candid revelations drew mixed reactions online. While many fans praised her bravery and wished her a quick recovery, others expressed concern about the pain, long healing period, and possible long-term effects—especially during pregnancy or with future weight changes.
Some followers responded with humor, saying they would only get such surgery if a hospital agreed to keep them for a full month. Others related to her struggle, comparing it to the discomfort of wearing compression garments after childbirth—only much worse in her case.
