How rich is Citizen TV’s Willis Raburu? See his wealth, businesses and investments

Willis Raburu is a well-known figure in the media industry, having spent over a decade working for Citizen TV. He is the CEO of Bazutainment and also has a background in music.

Raburu got his start in media as an intern at K24, where he was encouraged to do a piece to camera by his colleagues Steve Shitera and Mohamed Mahmud. This piece, called “Rite of Passage,” did well and launched Raburu’s media career. He went on to work for Royal Media Services before joining Citizen TV, where his salary is estimated at KSh 400,000, according to Who Owns Kenya.

Through his company Bazutainment, Raburu aims to support and mentor upcoming musicians in Kenya. He signed a KSh 5 million deal with betting company 22Bet in 2021 to help artists. Raburu has also released his own music, including the songs “Bazuu” and “Kalale,” which has over eight million views on YouTube.

In 2020, Raburu showed off his bungalow that he was building in the village during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is currently in a relationship with Ivy Namu and they have a second child, a baby girl. Raburu is dedicated to promoting the growth of the arts and music industry in Kenya through his work with Bazutainment.
