“Hiyo ni Uongo Tupu!“Pastor Ng’ang’a Reacts After BBC Exposé on TB Joshua

In the aftermath of a contentious BBC documentary titled “The Life and Death of TB Joshua,” Pastor James Ng’ang’a, the founder of Neno Evangelism Church, has stepped forward to defend the reputation of the late Nigerian prophet against accusations of orchestrating fake miracles and exploiting his followers.

Aired on BBC Africa Eye, the documentary presented testimonials from former disciples of TB Joshua, alleging that he orchestrated healings and subjected them to physical and sexual abuse.

Pastor Ng’ang’a, who had a personal encounter with TB Joshua during a visit to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria, has steadfastly supported the late prophet.

Recalling his visit, Ng’ang’a highlighted the respect and hospitality extended to him by Joshua. “I went to TB Joshua’s church, and upon learning of my presence, he arranged for me to be transferred to a presidential house. On Sunday, despite the church being full, he had reserved seats for both me and my wife. I was called to the front, and later I invited him to Kenya. However, he advised me to relax, return to Kenya, and spread the gospel,” shared Pastor Ng’ang’a.

Ng’ang’a stressed that, during their interactions, Joshua never sought financial contributions or favors. He firmly believes that TB Joshua was a genuine man of God based on these personal experiences.

The BBC documentary triggered controversy among both Christian and non-Christian communities, sparking diverse reactions. While some questioned the credibility of the allegations presented, others acknowledged Joshua’s humanitarian efforts and significant philanthropic contributions.
