Kenyan gospel artist Peter Omwaka, widely known as Guardian Angel, recently shared insights into his positive rapport with his stepchildren, who are nearly his peers in age.
In a recent interview with a local blog, Guardian Angel expressed that he shares a harmonious and healthy relationship with all of Esther Musila’s children: Gilda Naibei, Glenn Naibei, and Kim.
“They are grown individuals. We have a strong bond, a very positive connection,” remarked Guardian Angel.
Esther Musila, on her part, revealed that her children found it easy to bond with their 35-year-old stepfather. She explained that the three children embraced him wholeheartedly as part of their family.
Moreover, Musila explained that it wasn’t challenging for her children to adjust to her relationship with Guardian Angel, as she gradually exhibited different behavior signaling a new chapter in her life.
“One day, I informed them about my relationship with Guardian Angel. You know how children are. As their sole parent, they were understandably concerned. They feared that I might neglect them after entering a new relationship. However, Guardian came into their lives seamlessly, and they connected well from the very beginning,” she shared.
Addressing online critics, Guardian Angel expressed no regrets about his relationship with the 53-year-old woman. He emphasized that his commitment to his partner transcends age and societal opinions. He acknowledged that despite societal norms favoring marriages with younger women, many relationships have faltered.
“I am committed to my woman beyond age. Our bond is more significant than public opinions because, in the end, it’s just you and your spouse. Let the online critics continue their chatter on social media,” added the singer.
Guardian Angel further emphasized that he has remained indifferent to public opinions from the outset of his relationship with Esther, reinforcing his resilience against external judgments.
