Europe certain RUTO is the next president as it sends a delegation to talk about his bottom-up economic model –

With 6 months to the August ninth General Election, European nations seem to have made up their psyches on who is probably going to become president between ODM Leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.

On Tuesday, Europe sent a delegation to meet with Deputy President William Ruto at the Village Market in Nairobi, a move that many have claimed to mean an endorsement for the DP ahead of August polls.

The meeting named the first Meet the Candidates Platform brought together investors from at least 17 countries in Europe under the auspice of the European Business Council.

Talking for Kenya Kwanza co-chiefs Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Ruto confirmed that among the issues talked was how to improve the means by which to further develop local business environment, otherwise known as bottom-up, for hustlers to thrive.

“The recalibration of our business environment will democratize opportunities to actualize our country’s huge entrepreneurial potential.

“Kenya Kwanza will establish a just, supportive and affirmative regulatory regime that will facilitate businesses to comply and thrive,” he noted.

Simultaneously, Ruto and his team made a move to moot the bottom up economic model to the investors in line with their vision to uplift Kenya’s economy and help the hustlers to thrive.

Financial analyst David Ndii was on the round table to help the DP in explaining the subject.

“I shared our plan on the ease of doing business for everyone from the bottom of the economic pyramid with the European Business Council Kenya,” the DP shared on his social media pages.

Experts noted that the DP has been courting foreign investors, especially with his latest trips to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Uganda in 2021.
