Embu Teachers in Hospital After Form 1 Student Added Viagra To Their Staffroom Tea

Teachers at Murumbe High School in Embu County are currently undergoing treatment after a Form One student spiked their staffroom tea with Viagra, a medication commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction.

The affected teachers have been placed under medical supervision.

Reports identify the student as Jennifer Ndwiga, who allegedly added the drug to the tea following a punishment she received on Thursday afternoon.

“She added the Viagra after being disciplined for being disruptive,” a school staff member reported. “The teachers complained of involuntary erections and considerable discomfort,” the staff member continued.

“We want her arrested as this incident shows she could potentially harm other students or seriously damage the school’s reputation,” the staff member added.

Jennifer Ndwiga is currently at large, and investigations are ongoing.

In a related incident, students at Mukongu Secondary School in Maragua, Murang’a County were pacified by the local chief on September 16 after attempting to set the school’s cafeteria on fire. The students were protesting the insufficient supply of bread, alleging that rationing was taking place and that the keeper was overcharging them.
