Eddie Butita, a renowned content creator and comedian in Kenya, recently disclosed that Jackie Vicky, widely known as Awinja Nyamwalo, holds the title of the wealthiest female artist in Kenya.
Awinja, recognized for her previous role on the popular Papa Shirandula show that aired on Citizen TV a few years ago, has strategically invested in and presented herself exceptionally well, according to Butita. Despite her substantial wealth, Awinja is known for maintaining a low profile and refraining from flaunting her financial success.
Butita highlighted a distinctive indicator of Jackie Vicky’s affluence, pointing to her choice of attire during events. He emphasized that Awinja Nyamwalo doesn’t hesitate to spend a significant sum, such as Ksh. 25,000, on a single dress for a particular occasion. Awinja’s fashion sense is characterized by its opulence, and she rarely repeats outfits at different events. While her on-duty attire may be unconventional, she consistently appears in lavish outfits when attending events.
Consequently, Eddie Butita concluded that Awinja holds the position of the richest female artist in Kenya, with Size 8 securing the second spot. Diana Bahati clinches the third position, attributed to the numerous multimillion brand deals she has successfully negotiated.
