Political analyst Barrack Muluka has taken a swipe at a section of ODM politicians, claiming they can no longer survive politically after the death of Raila Odinga.
Muluka likened them to parasites that depended entirely on Raila for political survival, saying they are now desperately seeking a new source of power and influence.
“The parasites in ODM who used to survive on Raila Odinga’s body need a new host to survive because they can’t live without one. They have now found a new host in William Ruto after the departure of Baba,” Muluka said.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions across the political divide, with some Kenyans agreeing with his sentiments while others accused him of being disrespectful to Raila’s legacy.
Muluka’s statement comes at a time when several ODM leaders are said to be warming up to President William Ruto’s camp following Raila’s demise
